My Visit to see baby Nathaniel

Nathaniel
This Blog is dedicated to the Life of baby Nathaniel son of Daniel and Dillon Bunker. Nathaniel was born on November 28th 2008 at 24 weeks gestation. It is a true miralce that 10 days later he still lives. Nathaniel weighs 1 lb 7.6 oz and is a mere 11 3/4 inches long. Pictures can not begin to capture how tiny he is. A ventilator and multiple IV's sustain his life. Days after being born the doctors discovered he had a hole in his intestine. They operated succsesfuly and repaird the hole. Nathaniel was doing very well until he took a turn yesterday. He showed signs of swelling behind his brain and in his abdominal area. The doctors said nothing could be done. Now it is all up to little Nathaniel and the will of our Heavenly Father.

What a touching story Corrine! He was born on my birthday...what a special boy! I will keep this little family in my prayers. What an amazing family! Good luck and God bless!
Corrine- you are so thoughtful and such a good friend to everyone. I Hope one day i can be the kind of person you are. Anyhow i just added little nathaniel's name to the prayer roll at the salt lake temple and will probably be calling more temples. Good Luck! keep us posted!
